About me

I am inspired by the wildlife and landscapes around my home in the New Forest, my background before painting full time was in graphic design and after attending an arts foundation course at Bournemouth College it spurred me on to paint full time.

I like painting in loose and expressive way and enjoy experimenting in a variety of mediums, including Watercolour, Acrylics and Oils amongst others and use a variety of techniques such as collage to explore the character and essence of the subject I paint and have a particular passion for animals, I have completed many commissions of Horses/family pets.

I exhibit in some local Galleries and 'Open Studios' in August at Lepe's education room with a few other artists I am currently working on the production of a range of cushions, mugs and silk scarves, expanding on my current range of cards and prints for the retail market.  

Last year a percentage of her sales at the 'New Forest Show' were donated to a local charity, 'The New Forest Trust 'and is looking forward to joining them again this year.
